PAUL VS TYSON

CAMPAIGN

// NETFLIX

Vivid Zero teams up with Netflix, for what is to be one of the biggest and most talked-about fights in history. We started with several concepts. Then we collaborated with Netflix to select and refine the hero idea. Once the concept was solidified, we developed scripts and perfected our production paradigm, setting the stage for an enormous live-action shoot.

Our production took place on an XR stage equipped with massive volume screens and a Bolt Arm, enabling us to create dynamic and fluid camera movements. Our VFX team created custom backdrops, both moving and static, which were programmed into the XR system for a seamless and versatile production. A real boxing ring and over 100 sharply dressed extras helped ground the scene, creating a powerful sense of realism combined with CG crowds and stadium visuals amplifying the atmosphere.

Using the Bolt Arm motion control rig, we shot the fighters in dramatic moments with sweeping camera angles that froze the action. Suspended sweat, camera flashes, and atmospheric effects were added in post to heighten the impact of each shot – with the final color correct bringing it all together. As the fighters move towards each other, the camera moves at lighting speed around them. It freezes their movements and we are suspended in time, right before the biggest moment in boxing history is about to take place – the moment you’ve been waiting for… is almost here…
